Falling Blossoms Ketubah

Falling Blossoms Ketubah

scfbk

Artist Stephanie Caplan grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and currently lives in the East Village of New York. She draws on the energy of the city, as well as her academic background in Judaism and art history, to create ketubahs that combine art and ritual in new and surprising ways. The Falling Blossoms Ketubah is unique for its unconventional composition and gorgeous cherry blossom motif. Caplan plays with symmetry, balancing the text on the left with a sweeping branch of cherry blossoms on the right. Tones of pink, red, and gold lend an elegance to this piece and reference traditional Japanese art, going back hundreds of years. This is a lovely design that will continue to feel relevant and fresh for many years to come.
